Research peptides Australia: frequently asked questions

Ordering, testing, dispatch and handling, answered plainly. Every product is for in-vitro laboratory research only.

Testing & certificates

What does "lot-matched certificate" mean?

Every certificate names the lot it covers, and a size only shows a purity figure when a certificate exists for the exact lot in stock. If a size has no matching report yet, it says "Batch COA pending". A result is never borrowed from another lot, size or supplier. Browse every report in the certificate library.

Who tests the compounds?

Each report names the laboratory that ran it. Independent third-party reports come from Ozcanium Analytics and Janoshik. Supplier batch reports (HPLC and mass spectrometry) are labelled "Supplier lab" so you can always tell the two apart.

Are your research peptides third-party tested?

Many lots are. Independent third-party reports come from Ozcanium Analytics and Janoshik and are labelled with the laboratory's name; supplier batch reports (HPLC purity and mass spectrometry identity) are labelled "Supplier lab". Both kinds are published in full in the certificate library, so you can see exactly which lots have been tested externally.

How can I verify a certificate is genuine?

Where the testing laboratory offers a verification code or portal, the certificate page links straight to it, so the document can be checked against the lab's own records rather than ours. Every report is also published in full, not sent on request. Our step-by-step guide on how to verify a COA in Australia shows what to check.

What does the purity percentage measure?

Purity is normally reported as the share of total HPLC peak area belonging to the target compound at the stated wavelength, with identity confirmed by mass spectrometry. Our guide on how to read a COA walks through each section of a report.

What does "99%+ HPLC purity" mean on a certificate?

It means the target peptide's peak made up at least 99% of the total peak area in a reversed-phase HPLC run at the stated UV wavelength (usually 214–220 nm). It does not measure water, counter-ions or net peptide content, which is why a good certificate pairs it with mass spectrometry identity. See HPLC and mass spectrometry testing methods for the details.

Ordering & payment

Where can I buy research peptides in Australia with a published COA?

Vial AU supplies research peptides Australia-wide from Sydney, NSW. Every compound page shows the certificate of analysis for the lot in stock, or "Batch COA pending" until one is published, and all reports are open in the certificate library without a request. Browse the research catalogue. All products are for in-vitro laboratory research only.

How do I pay?

Choose PayID, bank transfer or cryptocurrency at checkout and place your order. We email you an order confirmation, then reply to that email with the payment details. Payment details are never shown on the website, and we never collect card details. Orders are packed once payment is received.

Why do I need to complete a research declaration?

Every order includes a research purchasing declaration confirming that the compounds are for in-vitro laboratory research and will not be used in people or animals. Orders whose research description suggests otherwise are held for review.

Why aren't some well-known compounds listed?

Vial AU does not supply prescription-only (Schedule 4) substances. Compounds that are listed are sold only as research chemicals for laboratory use.

Dispatch & delivery

How fast is dispatch?

Orders confirmed by 14:00 AEST/AEDT on a business day are dispatched the same day from Australia with Australia Post tracking. Delivery usually takes 1–3 business days after dispatch, depending on location.

Do you deliver to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide?

Yes. Orders ship Australia-wide from Sydney with Australia Post tracking, including Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Canberra and Darwin. Orders confirmed by 14:00 AEST/AEDT on a business day leave the same day and usually arrive 1–3 business days after dispatch; regional and remote addresses can take longer.

How much is shipping?

Tracked shipping is a flat $15 Australia-wide. The full terms are in the shipping policy.

What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Contact us with your order reference and a photo of the issue and we'll make it right, in line with your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. See the returns policy for details.

Storage & lab handling

How should lyophilised peptides be stored?

Lyophilised peptides are generally kept sealed, dry and protected from light, with freezer storage (around −20 °C) preferred for long-term holding. Let a vial reach room temperature before opening it to limit condensation. Our storage and stability guide covers the details.

How do I calculate stock-solution concentrations?

Use the concentration calculator to work out mg/mL and µM from the mass in the vial, the diluent volume and the molecular weight.

Research use & compliance

Are these products for human or veterinary use?

No. Every product is supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. They are not medicines, are not approved therapeutic goods, and are not for human or veterinary use.

Do you give advice on using compounds in people or animals?

No. We only answer questions about analytical testing, certificates, storage, laboratory preparation and orders.

Are any compounds relevant to sport anti-doping rules?

Some compounds may appear on the World Anti-Doping Agency Prohibited List. Researchers working within sporting organisations should check the current list.
